Soylent Green or Silent Green 2? Manage Heat

There is a silent green revolution going on join in and save money at the same time. Mother Earth is dying and more and more people want to know what I can do to help. If everybody just did a little more it will add up to something and getting into the solution is half the problem.

In the winter time look for cracks in the walls or places where the cold comes in, cold windy days are the best. A 1/16 inch crack that runs for 4 feet is going to cost you a lot of money over the course of a year. All you need to do is take some paper or left over insulation and stuff it in there and you are saving money today. The good places to look are where the house meets the foundation, look around windows and doors and electric outlets which are always problem spots.

You can also manage the heat better close the bedroom vents off when you are not in there and open them before you go to bed the other side is close off the main rooms when you go to bed, with old heater systems look into a thermostat cheater which is a small lamp that is on a timer and it fools the thermostat to thinking that it is warmer than it is set it so that it keeps the house a lot cooler at night when you really are burning the BTU s to keep up with the colder outside air temps.

Going green saves green in your pocket every dollar that you save you keep and you help the silent green revolution get louder.
